THUNDERFEST kicks off Rockingham NASCAR weekend!

ThunderFest is a local community-organized event that returns to downtown Rockingham, a long-standing outdoor event that's been held on NASCAR Weekend for years. This year’s ThunderFest event will take place on Thursday evening, April 17th.

Rockingham officials and area agencies have gone all-in to provide a fun, community event to kick off NASCAR's Return to Rockingham race weekend!

ThunderFest will feature NASCAR driver autograph session, the FirstHealth Kid's Zone, food trucks and beverage options, plus other intriguing vendors and interactive displays!  And, The Marshall Tucker Band performs LIVE at ThunderFest! 

Thursday, April 17
4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

NASCAR Driver appearances:  5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
The Marshall Tucker Band performs at 7:00 p.m.
