Top Development Series to Round Out Tripleheader Weekend
ROCKINGHAM, N.C. (Dec. 10, 2025) – The ARCA Menards Series East will return to the North Carolina Sandhills April 3-4, 2026, when Rockingham Speedway again hosts a tripleheader weekend that will include one of NASCAR’s top developmental series alongside the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series.
The ARCA Menards Series East features a cast established veterans and NASCAR’s next stars who compete primarily on the East Coast as a top-tiered development series.
The 2025 ARCA Menards East Series season concluded in September in Bristol, Tenn., where 16-year-old Issac Kitzmiller was crowned the division’s driver’s champion and this year’s Rockingham race winner, Brent Crews, secured the owner’s title for Joe Gibbs Racing.
Past ARCA Menards Series East champions include NASCAR Cup Series veterans Kyle Larson, Joey Logano, William Byron and Justin Haley.
“The ARCA Menards Series East provides an outstanding platform for the future stars of our sport to showcase their talents on the race tracks where some of the most influential people in the business can see them compete,” said Track Enterprises President Bob Sargent, promoter of Rockingham Speedway’s Easter Weekend tripleheader. “We’re thrilled to host the competitors and officials from the ARCA Menards Series East again in 2026 and provide our fans with another exciting race before the drivers and teams of the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series take center stage.”
The ARCA Menards Series national tour has raced at the legendary Richmond County oval multiple times, dating to 1973 and has seen a list of winners who have gone on to become some of stock car racing’s most recognizable names. Charlie Glotzbach etched his name on the winner’s trophy in 1973 before the series returned three decades later in an event won by Logano, the year after he captured the ARCA Menards Series East driver’s championship.
“Rockingham Speedway has a long and proud history throughout stock car racing, and with the ARCA Menards Series platform,” said ARCA President Ron Draeger. “The ARCA Menards Series first raced there all the way back in 1973, and what is now the ARCA Menards Series East raced there in its first season in 1987. We were proud to be a part of the reopening of Rockingham Speedway in 2025 and we look forward to being a part of the next chapter in the track’s storied history.”
Tickets are on sale now and race fans can log on to RacetheRock.com for continuing details and updates.
